What you will rarely see out there are audiophiles talking about the fact that having the right records is essential for success in this hobby. You cannot build a great sounding analog system around mediocre or poor sounding records. It simply doesn’t work.

Once you have some great sounding records in your collection, then you need a system that can actually play those records back well. Building such a system is not at all as easy as we might think. Sure, it will cost some money to do it. No one is pretending this hobby is cheap one. But money alone will not get you there, not even close in fact.

To have such a system, you need the right turntable, tonearm and cartridge, as well as the right amp, phono preamp and wires. You also need the right isolation equipment used in the right way.
